Financial Aid

A Catholic school education is a worthy financial investment, which will help your child succeed later in life and become a good citizen.  If your family is unable to afford the tuition, we can work with you to find a solution.

Futures in Education can help to provide scholarships for families who qualify.  In the past it has given out $8M to help students attend catholic schools, the most it has ever given out.

Futures in Education

Futures in Education is proud to administer scholarship programs, providing partial tuition assistance for families demonstrating financial need and who meet eligibility requirements to attend a Catholic academy or school in Brooklyn or Queens.  Its mission is to ensure that every child is able to afford a Catholic education.

Futures in Education is also a proud partner with Children’s Scholarship Fund (CSF), which administers the Teddy J. Forstmann Scholarship program.  CSF is a national 501(c)(3) charity funded entirely with private dollars, and believes a quality elementary school education puts children on the path to success in life.  CSF provides scholarships to low-income families so their children can attend the K-8 schools that will help them reach their full potential.

Tuition assistance awards are based on household size and income, and cover a percentage of tuition, and the maximum award is $2,000.  To renew the award each year, families will need to re-apply each year.

*To be eligible, families must: (1) Enroll student(s) in a Brooklyn or Queens Catholic elementary school/academy. (2) Complete the financial aid application and submit all required documents.  (3) Meet financial need requirements.

It is STRONGLY recommended that families apply as soon as possible.  Processing time is 4 to 6 weeks after application is submitted through FACTS.  Funding for the tuition assistance awards are most available at the beginning of the year and are reduced as the awards are given out.  Notification of awards to the families is given on a rolling basis, but will be no later than May 1st.
